My favourite place in the world of Monopoly is the Electric Company. Why? Because, without them, we would have inadequate light to play the finer board games in life; such as Dominion, Small World, Endeavor, the Pillars of the Earth and Age of Empires III.

  2. Darren Stones says:

Northumberland road .. Because i get to say northumberland road in a toffee accent everytime someone lands on it. Tally Ho to northumberland ‘Ol chap!

  3. Peggy Kuo says:

The Jail – that way I can stay in “jail” and not have to fuss about the random dice throws and all the “Let me not pay you rent this now and I’ll give you a free pass next time.” :)

Is there any place better to be in all the world of Monopoly? Safe, warm and comfy just like home. No daily grind to contend with. It is life in the easy chair while the money keeps rolling in. Visitors on a daily basis to keep you informed of events on the outside yet never ever any need to pay rent. An excellent corner lot with a hopeful view of Free Parking to keep the spirit soaring. Jail. How sweet it is!

My favourite place in the world of monopoly is the Funfair of Monopoly Junior. Given the choice between owning a hotel or a roller-coaster, I know would pick the roller-coaster any day.

  6. Tim Kerby says:

King’s Cross Station. It’s the first station after passing “Go” so I’d be nicely cashed up. I would then be able to use the cash to catch a train to Heathrow to get out of London ASAP and return to our beloved sunburnt country!

  7. randy dreger says:

Jail, because then I can stay in there and I don’t have to play anymore!!!

  8. Martin Jest says:

Maybe I just like green? Maybe its because I am a mid to top range man but I can’t keep away from Regent Street. Better chances with a set of three than blue, and hotels on all demoralizes the opposition on the last run before GO. It’s worth the investment

  9. Jason Conlon says:

Monopoloy’s Community Chest spots are my favourite, because: 1) I like surprises; 2) whenever I get to say the word “chest”, I can’t help doing it in a pirate voice, with a hearty “ARRR”; and 3) it’s the only chance this average Aussie bloke will ever have of winning a place in a beauty contest.

  10. I like the “Go to jail” because it’s Funny watching the face of the guy with hotels on the dark blues!!! You get out of the line of fire for $50!

  11. Brett White says:

The best monopoly is by far monopoly city. You get to buy property as soon as you have one property so the action comes fast and thick. Plus you get to mess with the value of other player’s properties. Loads of fun for everyone.

i without a doubt adore all your writing taste, very attractive.
don’t give up as well as keep penning as a result it simply just well worth to follow it.
impatient to look at more of your articles, have a good day ;)

Definitely the iron. It brings to mind deep symbolism of grand things like … ironing and housework. The kind of things that gaming helps you forget! And mental images of exciting things like … extreme ironing. The kind of things that gaming is all about. Pushing boundaries, and having fun. That’s iron-man board gaming!

  14. Tony Lee says:

The stations, when you have all 4 you can collect double rent and someone almost always lands on them each go round the board. And you don’t even have to put houses on them at great expense. Also, as owner they are such a nice safe place to land on.

  15. Luke says:

Fleet Street, as it is red; when I get my car on it, and buy it, I roll better! Red makes you go faster!

  16. Andrew says:

My favourite place is Jail. Non one bothers you and later in the game you don’t have to pay rent to anyone :)

  17. Yu-Lung Chan says:

My favourite place in the world of Monopoly is the historical King’s Cross Station in the original (and best) UK edition of Monopoly. It’s the best place because 1) You have a good chance that people will land at your station due to Chance cards, 2) Players who pass ‘Go’ may be lucky enough to avoid paying income tax, but will often have to pay me instead, and, best of all, 3) When a player lands at the station and pays their toll, you can repeatedly inform them they have just been ‘Railroaded’ (childish, but amusing).

  18. Katherine Kelly says:

Mayfair: because my husband ALWAYS lands on it right after I place a hotel.

  19. Charlie Min says:

I love GO because I get more money to buy the places I like! No doubt about it!

  20. Ric Felixberto says:

Free Parking. You don’t find that anywhere in Sydney within a few streets of some train stations and hotels. It’s a rarity.

  21. In jail says:

I wouldn’t have to worry about food or accommodation.

  22. David Luong says:

JAIL! Nothing beats sitting in jail for 3 turns and making money off your own hotels when you have a corner of opposition hotels waiting to drain you
